When to come

July and August are the busiest months. Spring brings trails and asparagus; October brings the Marunada. Outside midsummer, Lovran is generally quieter and easier to explore on foot.

July · Summer in Lovran

A month of open-air concerts — Lovran Night, the dance & music festival, the Jerry Ricks Blues Festival.

October · Marunada

Three chestnut weekends: Lovran, then Dobreć, then Liganj. Our favourite time of year.

November · Light Festival

The town lit up once more before winter quiets it down.
